Friday Jun 24, 2022
BJ Miller is an American physician, author and speaker. He has worked in hospice and palliative medicine physician and is known for his 2015 TED Talk, "What Really Matters at the End of Life". BJ speaks so calmly, intellectually and deeply about life and his experience on this episode of DEAD Talks. He reflects on his time in the hospital after he nearly died at the age of 19 and the meaning he pulls from it all. His interest in the way that we die and how he established his focus of reform in that aspect. This was a wonderful conversation that I felt honored to have with this man.

Friday Jun 10, 2022
Amber Jeffrey from the UK is the founder and host of The Grief Gang Podcast where she also has been on the journey of normalizing grief. She shares her story and what she went through after losing her mother in 2016 to a sudden heart attack. I'm an immediate fan of this woman as she is absolutely hilarious and wonderfully honest.
In her own words: "Fast forward the 3 most turbulent & traumatic years of my life, I'd had enough of bottling up my emotions and feelings when it came to my grief. It was bursting out of me, I needed a release but couldn't find the right resource or outlet to do so. Then it came to me..."If I can't find that voice, then I will be that voice" and The Grief Gang podcast was born."
